Outreach for Schools

CECE offers engaging educational experiences for school and pre-university students, providing a unique opportunity to explore the world of chemical ecology and the science behind plant–insect–microbe interactions. Through guided visits arranged by prior reservation, students and teachers can learn about ongoing research projects, witness demonstrations of key techniques, and tour our laboratories and experimental facilities. These visits are designed to spark curiosity, inspire young minds, and showcase the importance of ecological chemistry in agriculture, biodiversity, and environmental sustainability. CECE also organizes periodic public events, open days, and science outreach programs, which are announced through our website and communication channels. Schools interested in participating are welcome to contact the centre for scheduling and further information.

Collaboration
National Collaborators

CECE actively partners with leading Indian universities, research institutes, and agricultural organizations to strengthen the country’s scientific capacity in chemical ecology. Through these collaborations, we integrate expertise across entomology, plant sciences, microbial ecology, and sustainable agriculture to address region-specific ecological and pest management challenges. National partnerships facilitate shared access to facilities, coordinated field research, joint training programs, and the development of semiochemical-based solutions tailored to Indian ecosystems. CECE warmly welcomes researchers, institutions, and industry partners across India who are interested in collaborating and contributing to the advancement of chemical ecology in the country.

International Collaborators

CECE engages with renowned research institutions worldwide to drive innovative, interdisciplinary chemical ecology research and promote global scientific exchange. These collaborations combine expertise in chemical analytics, behavioural ecology, neuroethology, genomics, and microbial interactions, enabling high-impact projects and access to advanced technologies and diverse ecosystems. International partnerships support joint research initiatives, visiting scientist opportunities, and collaborative training programs that position CECE within the global network of excellence in chemical ecology. The centre openly invites scientists, laboratories, and organizations across the world who are interested in collaborative research to connect with us and explore opportunities for partnership.
